RCIA / Adult Confirmation.  The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a journey designed to bring unbaptized and/or baptized persons of another Christian denomination into the Catholic Church.  The journey begins in the fall, and the candidates receive the sacraments of initiation at Easter Vigil liturgy. 

RCIC (Order of Christian Initiation as adapted for Children).  RCIC is a program designed to instruct children who have not yet received the sacraments but are past the usual age of instruction (age 7 - the age of reason).  These classes begin in the fall and culminate at the Easter Vigil Mass where they receive the sacraments.
